- Krish Subramanian
Co-founder and CEO of Chargebee. Before starting Chargebee he spent around seven years at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions. He and Rajaraman Santhanam began planning a venture together in 2004, saving 20-30% of their salaries for years before launching in 2011.
- Rajaraman Santhanam
Co-founder of Chargebee, leads operations and finance. He worked at Zoho (then AdventNet) from 2001 to 2011 before co-founding Chargebee. He originated the disciplined savings plan that funded the founders' early runway.
- Thiyagarajan Thiyagu
Co-founder of Chargebee and a former college roommate of Krish Subramanian. One of the four software engineers who built the subscription billing platform out of Chennai.
- Saravanan KP
Co-founder of Chargebee, known as KPS. He had been Rajaraman Santhanam's mentor at Zoho before the four friends launched Chargebee in 2011.

- 2022-02Valuation doubles to 3.5 billion dollars — Raises 250 million dollars led by Tiger Global and Sequoia Capital, doubling its valuation to 3.5 billion dollars and taking total funding to about 470 million dollars.
- 2021-04Becomes a unicorn with Series G — Raises 125 million dollars at a 1.4 billion dollar valuation, co-led by Sapphire Ventures, Tiger Global and Insight Partners, entering the unicorn club.
